Welcome to Sherwood Dungeon adventurer! You have arrived in the ancient realm of Sherwood to test your fate and fortunes against fellow warriors. Explore a dungeon so vast that no one has yet to reach the bottom. There are many different islands and lands to explore, monsters to slay and quests to complete. Play alone or join a guild to achieve glory.

 

Sherwood Dungeon is a great online MMORPG that works in any browser. Sherwood is a free MMORPG 3D world where hundreds of players come together to defend their honor in combat and join a community of like-minded participants. Players choose one of four guilds after entering the world with the game play featuring team-based player vs. player and player vs. monster combat.

Movement:

Use the arrow keys to move your avatar around. CTRL attacks and you will continue to attack as long as the button is held.

Blocking:

If you hold CTRL and SHIFT at the same time your character will block any attacks from monsters or other players in the game. If you block an attack successfully, your next attack will do double damage. Block two attacks in a row and your next attack will do triple damage. Good timing and practice is required to block effectively in this MMORPG.

Magic Amulets:

Rare and magical amulets exist in Sherwood Dungeon, if you are fortunate enough to find these magical items, press TAB to activate them. They can be found in chests in the dungeon or can be bought from merchants in Castle Sherwood.

Chatting with others:

To talk to anyone in the room you can just type in the chat console and hit enter.

 

Player Combat (PVP):

Combat can occur in certain areas for fun and honor. You cannot fight other places in certain places in the game such as Sherwood Keep and Sherwood Dungeon.

Experience:

Experience is gained in Sherwood Dungeon by defeating various monsters throughout the realm of Sherwood. Each point of damage inflicted on a defeated enemy monster earns you experience. You can obtain bonus experience from completing quests in the game. To display the character screen and see your experience progression, press the ESC button or click on your health meter. Gaining XP levels increases your health, gives you more advanced items and helps increase your chances against more powerful monsters.

 

Portals:

There are five portals that take you to other islands in Sherwood. You can also use the /teleport command to instantly teleport from any locatlion.
